I’m excited to partner with a new collective in Toronto that’s bringing people together to connect, share ideas, and build something meaningful.
Pluto @enterpluto is more than just a fourth space; it’s a place for people to come together in person, engage in meaningful conversations, and explore the ideas that shape us, while co-creating and co-relating.
I created The Edge of Us not just as a Substack, but as a space for people to connect both online and in person. Through conversations, live events, podcast interviews, and more, I want to bring people together to explore some of the biggest questions about what makes us human. Pluto will be our home for this.
Personal (Inner) Singularity
This Edge of Us is a portal into my mind (and others’) and experiences as we journey toward what I called and coined our personal singularity, a process of personal evolution shaped by my own experiences and the people we meet along the way. Through frontier science, culture, human rights, and personal discovery, we explore the forces that shape who we are and who we are becoming.
I believe an inner singularity exists within all of us. Our memories, synchronicities, anomalous experiences, traumas, life experiences, and personal beliefs all contribute to the people we become. They shape how we see the world, how we treat one another, what we believe, and, ultimately, what makes us tick.
If we look closely, we may begin to recognize our own personal singularities unfolding: moments when our experiences, beliefs, memories, and discoveries converge, changing how we understand ourselves and the world around us.
The Convergence Singularity
The Edge of Us is about that evolution: the intersection of who we are, what we’ve experienced, and who we’re becoming. It’s about exploring how our inner worlds intersect with the world around us.
Or what I’ve also coined The Convergence Singularity, the point at which the Personal, Human, Technological, and Cultural singularities begin to intersect and fundamentally change one another.
I’m looking forward to taking this new road with you all and Pluto. In a world that increasingly seems to pull us apart, I want to help create spaces that bring us together to talk about what matters, challenge our assumptions, share our experiences, and understand one another better.
A place to connect. A place to question. A place to belong. A place to be human.
